Aurelius was termed a philosopher-king and was believed to be influenced by Stoicism. His reign lasted almost twenty years (161-180 CE) and marked the end of an era of harmony and worthy rule. Marus Aurelius was born on 26 April 121 in Rome and he was the last of the Five Good Emperors of Rome. Birthday of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius
